Autumn gardening’s days of delight

"Now that the mornings are cooler and the deciduous vines covering houses have turned crimson, you can be in no doubt that autumn is here. There is much to recommend autumn. The hard work of the summer garden is over, fruit is ripening, trees are replete with nutritious nuts, autumn roses are in bloom, often more beautiful than their first flush in spring, and deciduous trees are taking on yellows, golds and reds."
